  The  Association  of  Mutual  Funds  in  India (AMFI)  is  dedicated  to  developing  the  Indian  Mutual  Fund  Industry  on  professional,  healthy  and  ethical  lines  and  to  enhance  and  maintain  standards  in  all  areas  with  a  view  to  protecting  and  promoting  the  interests  of  mutual  funds  and  their  unit  holders. 

URGENT & IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

In order to protect the interest of the investors, AMFI has issued Best Practice Guidelines to all AMCs advising them not to accept third party cheques in respect of Mutual Fund Investments (with a few exceptions) effective from November 15, 2010.

From September 1, 2010, it is mandatory to comply with the Know Your Distributor (KYD) Procedure before applying for fresh ARN Registration/ ARN Renewal
