Cir/ IMD/ DF/13/ 2011 dated August 22, 2011, Transaction charges are allowed to be paid to Mutual Fund distributors. The Option letter for selecting "Opt in" option/ letters for "Opt-out" option by the distributors who had earlier "Opted in" and now wish to "Opt out" for transaction charges, can now be submitted to CAMS-POS between March 1 to March 25, 2012. Accordingly, test for AMFI Mutual Fund (Basic) Module and AMFI Mutual Fund (Advisors) Module will not be conducted from June 1, 2010. National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) would be conducting Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination from June 1, 2010 onwards. Consequently the mandate given to Indian Institute of Capital Markets (IICM) and Centre for Education and Learning (CIEL) by AMFI for conducting Refresher Course stands withdrawn.
